Domain Troubleshooting

If your domain shows “Ready” in green, then it’s all good, nothing else to do, it should be properly connected to your site and load on the browser when you type the domain.

What to do if the domain does not show “Ready”?

If it’s been less than 24 hours since you made the dns changes and/or added the domain, you will need to wait. Unfortunately, after each dns change, it might take up to 24 hours for the information to propagate, so you’ll need to wait.

In the meanwhile, make sure to double check that your DNS records in your domain are correct, they should be like in the tutorial:

If you have other records, delete them, make 100% sure there are only 2, and they look exactly like the screenshot above. Make sure there are no typos.

It should be:

CNAME / www / platinumxpages.io

A / @ / 165.227.102.10

It’s been more than 24 hours but the domain is still not ready.

If this is the case, once again, verify that your DNS records are correct. They should be like in the tutorial (otherwise it won’t work).

Go to Namecheap, then inside the advanced DNS records screen, it should be like this:

It should be:

CNAME / www / platinumxpages.io

A / @ / 165.227.102.10

After you make any changes inside Namecheap, please go back to your Platinum X Pages site, dashboard, remove the domain and add it again. Please note that you will have to wait up to 24 hours for the domain to work.
